Friday 16 August 2013 - Broome
Finally, it’s time to say farewell to this town! We’ve restocked, refuelled, re-streamlined and are ready to hit the road. Yasmin is having a camel ride with Nanna as I write this while Sienna gets under Glenn’s feet as he does the last few things. Tomorrow we’re heading to Middle Lagoon, where we hopefully catch a few feeds of fish (it’s been quite depressing for Glenn having the boat remain on top of the camper while he worked the last one and a half months!) and get to enjoy a bit more space. We probably won’t be in range for the next week so it’s over and out for now. Below is a photo of me when I did the BRAC to Beach 10km fun run last Sunday. I was pretty darn stoked with my time of 49:30! Unfortunately I ran so fast that Glenn didn’t even get himself and the kids down to the beach in time to watch me cross the finishing line. I wasn’t going to run it again for their benefit though!
